Exactly as the titles says.

I love the Novel the most, the plot makes the most sense, we're given info on every character and they've got lots of depth and detail. But I love how visual the Manga is and how most of the cast has a chance to shine. I only really watch the Film for Kazuo, Shogo, Shinji and Keita, everyone else is too dumb to live.

I prefer the novel too.
Mostly cause, in the manga, it seems like it takes forever for somebody to die.
Like, they'll be dying and you think they're about to die but NOPE, they come back and say a bunch more stuff then start drifting off again and NOPE time to have a chat!
Lmao, it bothers me for some reason.
Cringe

I read Shounen Manga so I never notice. Moe Blob

Although, it takes WAY too long for a main character to die, which kinda bugs me.

Hnnnnnng I stick by my introduction and go with movie.
Because I'm just madly in love with movie!Kazuo. @_@
Even if he totally lacks a backstory.

But it's very very close with the novel, rest assured. >_<
Because I love reading. And the book was very cinematic in itself, and of course it went into much more depth regarding the characters. I felt like I got to know everyone a lot better than in the film, and it was great to get glimpses of what was going through everyone's heads during the Program(besides bullets and machetes lol Troll ).
Not to mention all the scenes and details that the film wasn't able to cover.
LIKE HIROKI V. KAZUO HOLY SHIT THAT WAS EPIC KIRIYAMA WAS PULLING FIREARMS OUT OF LIKE EVERY ORIFICE

The manga was really over the top and hammy at times, but I think it's probably my favourite. Some parts were really heartbreaking, which was impressive considering how much the focus seemed to be on gore and porn.

I read the Novel first so naturally I prefer that
I also love how it gives the reader a story of most of the characters before they were in Royale.

I read the Manga a little bit and it took some getting used to but I grew to like how they expanded on some of the stories.

The movie *first one* wasn't bad- I kind of liked that. I understand they had to cut out a lot of other characters except for the main ones due to time constraints

I prefer the novel most. A simple reason is because I prefer reading rather than watching a movie. With BR in particular, I find that the novel goes so much deeper into the character's personalities. We get to know so many of the minor ones and it makes almost every death so emotional. The novel had some of my favorite scenes, like Numai (and Kiriyama family > Numai's gang), Yoshimi/Yoji, Yutaka and Shinji's friendship moments, Kayoko before Sugimura found her etc.

I do like the movie a lot and I like the manga for what it is (though the official translation is so dreadful), but nothing compares to the experience of reading the novel for me.

I feel like the novel absolutely compliments the movie. Like, the movie is pretty awesome on its own, but once you read the book, the movie takes on this WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF DEPTH AND WONDER AND FEELS
OH GOD, THE FEELS

and then if you already love the movie the movie is just all the more fantastic. xD
despite their obvious differences, and despite all that the movie is lacking in contrast to the novel~
