First Meet.

Mayumi walked down the corridors, gripping onto her next lesson's books. She nervously shuffled aside from some older girls, who were pushing past her. She sighed and continued walking. This was going to be a hard day. Her first day of high school and she didn't even have one friend yet.

Mayumi continued to walk down the hallway nervously. God, i must look like the biggest loser, she thought. Walking down the hall she could saw that a lot of people had already found their cliques and groups of friends. This made her really nervous, she hoped she would found a group soon, hoperfully a popular one.

The hall was getting more crowded as she walked along to her class. She pulled out her sheet from the books in her hand and scanned it. It told her she needed to be in room 24B. Mayumi scanned the area around her and saw she was near classroom 10B. Mayumi tucked her sheet back away and continued walking.

She then decided to take her new mobile phone from her pocket and check the time. As she walked she pulled her phone from her uniform pocket. She flipped it open and began to look at the screen. Mayumi suddenly felt something hit her front. She fell backwards slightly and dropped her books and her new phone.

"Damn it!" Mayumi uttered quickly.

She dropped to the floor and began grabbing her books. Her papers blew through the air and she sighed, clearly annoyed. Mayumi looked up to see who she had bumped into.

A worried looking girl stood before her. She had her hair pushed out of her face and she looked down nervously at Mayumi.

Don't worry Yoshimi, sweetie, is only the high school...

Although her mother try to calm her, Yoshimi was very nervous. All his life at school was summed up in critiques and mockery, and she was to change it. The little girl has baby face, curly hair and she was very little, more than the majority.
She walking through the halls with her head down, until she heard a noise. It seemed like a fight, or something.

Yes, a girl with spiky hair was hitting others, and laughed. She was horrible! Yoshimi thought that she has to be a yankee. And resting against the wall, a girl with long, black hair, and very, very pretty. She looked at her awhile.

Wow...

The pretty girl looked back at Yoshimi, and she blushed. Then, she ran out, but she crashed with someone.

"S-Sorry! My fault!"

Damn, my first day and I will have a fight...

"S-Sorry! My fault!"

Mayumi couldn't help but feel sorry for the girl. She looked as nervous as she did and just as lost.

"Nah, it's alright, i wasn't paying attention either," Mayumi said to the girl.

Mayumi continued to pick up her books. Then she heard a loud cackle and turned around. A girl with spiked up hair was walking near her. As she walked past she looked down at Mayumi and laughed. Walking beside her was a stunning girl with long black hair.

"I take it i won't be getting along with her very well," Mayumi mumbled.

She then looked up to see the girls eyes trailing after them. The girl then looked back over at Mayumi, looking nervous once more.

Yoshimi smiled, but she has to depart from the path of those two girls, the model and the yankee. She leaned against the wall, next to Mayumi, and looked the two girls one more time, before they disappear into the corner.

Spent a few seconds until Yoshimi started to talk again. She was so shy, especially with strange people.

"They.. they are so cool, don't you think?" she laughed. "I-I mean.. the are respected, sure!"

Her voice trembling, but she forced a smile.

"I'm Yoshimi Yahagi, I'm new here! I have yo go to the class 24B"

Mayumi picked up the her remaining books and phone, then she stood. The girl stood nervously, leaning against the wall. Mayumi looked her over and realized she was quite pretty. Maybe she was even popular, Mayumi thought. She had thought it would be best to get in with the popular kids first. She knew it sounded shallow but it was just survival in high school.

"They.. they are so cool, don't you think?" the girl laughed nervously. "I-I mean.. they are respected, sure!"

Mayumi found her words to sound a little silly. Almost like she thought the girls were gods or something. At the same time she understood though. She could tell that those were going to be the popular girls. There goes my chance at being a somebody, Mayumi thought.

Mayumi looked at the girl, tilting her head a little. She reminded her of herself in many ways. She seemed to also be worried and nervous for her social label. Mayumi could relate to that and by extention she could relate to her. Mayumi smiled at the girl.

"I'm Yoshimi Yahagi, I'm new here! I have you go to the class 24B," she said.

Mayumi smiled and nodded her head. She then walked closer to the girl.

"I'm Mayumi Tendo, i'm also new. You're in that class? No way, so am i! You want to come find it with me? Gosh, i could use the help," Mayumi said.

Mayumi then walked beside the girl and smiled. Thank god, she thought, finally i have someone.

When Yoshimi heard that Mayumi has her same age, she smiled a little more. Mayumi wasn't "as cool" as the other girls, but, Yoshimi! You aren't cool too! she said for herself, and started to walk with her, looked at all the doors.

24B, 24B...

And again, she saw the cool girls, entered in the class 24B.

Yoshimi swallowed and grabbed Mayumi's hand, entered too. Still missing minutes to start the class, but she didn't want to be late.

Mayumi smiled as the girl named Yoshimi accepted her offer and walked beside her. They scanned each door as they walked past, looking for 24B. It was only a few minutes before they found it. Mayumi then noticed those two bitchy looking girls enter that same class.

"Oh, great.." Mayumi whispered to herself.

Then Yoshimi caught her eye. She was watching them enter the door in amazement. It looked as if she worshiped them. Mayumi was a little worried then. She worried that Yoshimi might leave her for them and she would have no one. Mayumi nervously shifted on the spot, trying to throw away the thought.

But her nerves calmed down when Yoshimi grabbed her hand. Mayumi looked at Yoshimi and smiled, suddenly feeling grateful to have someone with her. The two girls walked into the room, nervous smiles planted on their faces.

Mayumi spotted a seat in the middle of the desks. She nudged Yoshimi and nodded over to the desk. Yoshimi looked over from where she was currently looking (The two girls) and nodded. They began to walk over to the desk, sitting down when they got there.

Her eyes suddenly traveled to behind them, where the 'cool' girls sat. She looked as the spiked haired one filed her nails, legs resting on the desk infront of her. The prettier one was looking up at the clock and sighed. She then turned to her friend and they began talking loudly. Mayumi turned away and back to Yoshimi.

"I'm really nervous.." Mayumi said, shaking.

Yoshimi sat in her chair, support her arms in the desk, and looked at the wall to the right, distracted. With the wind whipping her hair, Yoshimi look so beautiful (less than the other two girls), but she didn't seemed so nervous as a few minutes before.

She looked at her friend when she began to talk. Yoshimi smiled and shook her head.

"Don't be nervous. I-I mean... we're going to have friends soon, okay" when she said it, the girl looked at the other person in the class.

Sitting in a desk, a handsome guy was playing with a basketball in his hand. Yoshimi blushed a little.

"Look, Mayu, is so handsome!"

They weren't the only one who looked at him, apparently, all the girls did it. When Yoshimi realized that, she started to laugh.

We look pathetics, hahaha...

"Don't be nervous. I-I mean... we're going to have friends soon, okay" Yoshimi conforted her.

Mayumi smiled and nodded. She then turned to look across the room. She heard a thumping against the ground and watched as a ball bounced in the air. She followed the ball up to the owner and saw a handsome boy holding it. He continued bouncing it with his one hand. He was very good looking. Then almost as if Yoshimi read her mind she nodded over to the boy.

"Look, Mayu, is so handsome!" Yoshimi said.

She turned to Yoshimi after a minute and nodded in agreement. She then looked down at her books. She looked around the room again and saw many new faces had entered the room. She saw a group of giggling girls in the back of the room. They seemed so happy and excited. Mayumi frowned and turned back in her seat. Yoshimi and her didn't seem to be very excited, more nervous.

"Hey uhm Yoshimi, do you think we'll fit in here?" Mayumi asked nervously.
