| It came as no surprise that Show was late. Tsukioka was frequently late anyways, likely attributed to putting forethought into his clothes with mind to style and color, not to mention a face full of make-up to smooth over his masculine features into something at least vaguely effeminate. The latter of which Kazuo was aware Show spent extra amounts of time on whenever the two of them had planned a meeting. Kazuo, on the other hand, wore the same thing he always did; even outside of school, he dressed nicely in black slacks, white dress shirts, and an accompanying black blazer. As was more expected of any male, his face was bare of make-up - and no less handsome for it, his fair skin smooth and flawless, his graceful, somewhat feminine features accentuated by a pleasantly subtle bone structure and tantalizing jawline. All left exposed since his sleek, black hair was immaculately gelled back. An unrelentingly detached expression and hollow gaze completed the look of humanoid robot-turned-CEO. Tonight, Show had invited him to a movie. Their government was very short on anything remotely entertaining. This film was some kind of romantic comedy. Not interesting in the least to Kazuo, but he had never been to the movies before, and that was more of the point of going, for the experience - which Show had promised to provide. The youth's slender frame leaned against the wall outside the theater, hands tucked into his pants pockets. His slicked-back head of hair normally suggested a shady, gang-associated young man, but with his pristine features and high-class clothes, Kazuo passed more for a 15-year-old crime lord if anything. His cool gaze swept over the people milling in and out of the theater, shifting periodically to check down the street for signs of his companion. Various calculations regarding the time of the movie and the distance between the theater and Show's home sifted through Kazuo's mind, amongst many other such calculations and more or less related memories simultaneously. | |

| Show barely noticed how late he was until he looked at the clock in his house. Soon Show found himself running, at a fast pace as he hurried to the theater. He had just finished putting on several layers of make-up to hide the masculinity of his face. The people on the side walk found the outfit that Show was wearing odd. He was currently donning pink zebra pattern pants and a silver sequin shirt. Show smirked he liked the attention, but he didn't like TOO much attention. If he gets too much attention, then he gets the government's attention, and if he gets the government's attention he might have to go to "Re-Education Camp". Or worse. But a couple people staring at him is no harm! Show considered himself a bit of an attention whore. Show finally arrived at the area of the movie theater and looked around for Kazuo-Kun. His eyes finally set on the boy leaning against the wall, the boy he had an intense attraction to. He jumped up and waved to him. He greeted him, "Hiiii, Kazuo-Kuun!" He said in a high-pitched and giddy voice. He was extremely excited for their date. | |

| Soon enough, the telltale glitter of a sequin shirt caught his eye down the sidewalk. Predictably, Show drew staring as he approached. The two of them were an odd pair to say the least - Show's pompadour hairstyle was the only sign they were anywhere near the same social group. The flamboyant boy's greeting was as uproarious and singsong as always. "Hello, Show." In vivid contrast, Kazuo's voice was soft and his tone flat. Glassy, disinterested-looking eyes swept past his companion to study the theater's entrance. He had already analyzed the scene for some time while waiting. He had counted how many people came in equivalent to came out and over what intervals of time. He had observed the type of lighting and recalled its effects on mood along with the model of light bulb. He had watched the doors open and shut and identified their type of hinges. But just what the inside of the theater was like or what one did there he had yet to see for himself. Of course, he had an idea, but had never gone through the process of purchasing tickets before. He waited for Show to lead the way inside, and once through the doors took in his new environment with undeterred calm. He was quick to count every individual in sight, take note of every obvious or possible exit and entrance, estimate the amount of space in the room - across the floor and the height to the ceiling - and identify the various machinery he was familiar with, such as the types of light bulbs again, and the glass counter, display stands, fountain drink dispenser, popcorn and slushie machines... Popcorn was a typical movie food, he recalled. "... Are you hungry?" He asked as they stepped into the line for tickets; it was easy based on the flow of traffic to piece together the order of pre-movie tasks within the theater lobby. "Popcorn is a food regularly eaten during a movie, correct?" His tone only fluctuated very faintly to signal a question, but remained unnervingly even nonetheless. His gaze drifted to the popcorn machine, studying it and recalling the temperature it took to make popcorn while also estimating the temperature the popcorn would be upon reaching them in one of the designated paper bags. About simultaneously, his mind drifted over the memory of how many calories were in a typical bag of popcorn, not that it was something he worried over. His physical health was easy to maintain. The correctly balanced schedule of exercise, a nutritious diet, and a relatively consistent sleep schedule was simple for him to plan out and sustain. For this, although Kazuo watched what he ate - as he could not much but help doing so - it was a rare occasion he had to refrain from eating anything, except sometimes if his gang partook in too much fast food for one day. | |
