| Mama let go, and she looked down at the floor still confused on what was going on? her head continue to spin, even as she placed a hand on her temple didn't work.
"Hands off of her, Souma. Now."
"Boyscout, why are you ruining the fun? Can't you mind your own buisness? Or would you like to join? I'm fine with that."
Evryone is telling something about something. her mind tried to go back to those happy moments then flash forward to the times when it was only her and her mother working together to make a living. She opened her mouth but failed to make herself laugh.
her mind continue to race but nothing came from it. Neither laughter or pleasure, just a constant feeling of calm.

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] His concentrated expression was permeated by a thin smile. Kawada had turned to face him, and the young man was hunched over somewhat with patches of red scattered about his form. He had gotten in a hit, after all - more than one, by the looks of it. It also looked like boy number five was ready to face his fate. Good. Kazuo stopped firing and strode forward; his posture with the Uzi appeared more lax, though his grip remained as tight as ever, prepared to take out whoever got in his way. Which was exactly what happened. A girl he had killed before, the one he dimly recalled as Kanai, was rushing for Kawada's side. Kazuo took no hesitation in lifting his submachine gun to shoot at Kanai before she had quite reached Kawada, and he maintained fire until she fell to the tile floor. Kazuo's deal with his novel-verse counterpart had been broken. But the chainsaw katana and chainsaw submachine gun that he had just lost were far from his mind now. He continued promptly forward until he was about a few steps from Kawada, his gun aimed straight for his chest all the while. It was everything he had not to shoot the other boy down right there, but he had other things in mind. The wild-haired youth stepped forward to close the little distance left between them with the slow, patient steps of a predator, not unlike a lion slinking out of its cage, his pitch dark eyes locking onto Kawada's. Maintaining eye contact unblinkingly, Kazuo gave a subtle shake of his head - a small signal not to try anything, as the end of his Uzi was still aimed for Kawada's chest. If he fired now, Kawada would be dead in an instant. When he was so close that the hot end of his submachine gun was centimeters from Kawada's chest, he gazed into the eyes of his captive. For all his activity that night, Kazuo's eyes were calm, with a kind of electric intensity, like a cat pleased with its prey after the hunt. His face was at first eerily blank besides those eyes, but a subtle smile began seeping into his features as a free hand lifted toward Kawada's face. An excited warning in Kazuo's gaze continued to coolly advise against moving. Kazuo Kiriyama had his killer at the end of his Uzi now, and was reaching for his eyes to start off the real fun. Dimly, he could hear the horrified gasps and cries of the other students in the gym as people began to piecing together just what he was up to... [Only admins are allowed to see this image] Chisato slowly turned her gaze to Oda. "... Do you think so?" She managed to ask just a little above a whisper. She had her doubts that Oda was a genius, but she was thankful for his efforts to be reassuring anyways. This time, however, she could not muster any amount of a smile; she was too scared. She stared at him fearfully as he rather awkwardly stroked her hair in a further attempt to soothe her, and bit her lip to avoid letting the tears fall from her eyes. But at more gunfire she jumped, gaze darting to peer out from under the table. The sight made her give a short cry, and finally the tears burst free down her cheeks; Izumi had been shot rushing for Kawada, who appeared to have been Kiriyama's target all this time. "No!" She buried her face in her hands to avoid watching anymore. I can't do this again. I can't. Please stop... A small whine seeped out of her as she struggled not to break down into sobbing. | |

| Shuya laughed nervously, and helped Yukie get back on the ground. "Okay, maybe it's not such a good idea to be up and moving just yet."
He gently felt her forehead with his hand. She almost felt like she was getting a fever. "You feeling okay?"

| SHINJI
Shinji Mimura had arrived at the dance late. He had been biting his nails for half of the night, completely nervous. The psychopath, the one who had drove him to killing himself had been threatening to kill him brutally in the weeks before. Shinji couldn't tell if his threats were empty or not. But he had a few girls who wanted him to come to the dance, and he could never let a girl down.
But as he walked through the door, he saw that this was no ordinary High School dance, he saw the psychopath, Movie Kiryama nearing a downed Shogo Kawada and he noticed a bloody Izumi Kanai on the floor, he couldn't tell if she was dead or not. It was then that Shinji realized that Kiryama's threats were not empty, and he did indeed plan on gouging his eyes out and brutally torturing Shinji until he finally passes on.
Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit.

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] Toshinori poked his head out from under the table again and saw a horrific sight. Kiriyama certainly wasn't taking it easy with the Uzi, as Izumi had been shot. Next to him, he could see that Chisato had started to cry. All his comforting was useless. "I'm not letting Kiriyama kill me in the most vulgar way imaginable again," he reassured himself more than Chisato. Toshinori began to think of something to do. Finally, an idea struck him. In a messy movement, Toshinori flipped the table onto its side, sending the snacks flying across from them. Thanks to his short height, Toshinori was able to lay low easily. He pushed Chisato down as well, trying to reassure her that this guaranteed their safety. | |

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] His fingertips froze inches from Kawada's eyes, and he broke eye contact as his gaze shifted to the door. Top priority had just walked in. Though his face remained calm, hatred billowed into the young man's dark eyes. Turning his attention back to Kawada for only a second, Kazuo promptly whacked him hard up the head with the submachine gun, hoping to at least topple him to the ground if not knock him unconscious. He would be back for that target later, and didn't want him to get too far. Once he felt confident Kawada wouldn't get in his way, he turned for Mimura, and raised his Uzi to fire at the boy's legs while simultaneously moving briskly toward him. There was considerable distance between them, however; Kazuo's aim would have a rough start until he got closer, which he was steadily advancing, his gaze and all his focused locked onto Mimura with near tunnel vision. Deadly serious, hellbent, bloodthirsty tunnel vision. [Only admins are allowed to see this image] She jumped, giving a small shriek at the table being knocked over only because she was scared out of her mind and it had startled her. She didn't need much encouragement to duck down with Oda behind it once it was on its side. Chisato was not perfectly certain the table was thick or strong enough to guard against submachine gunfire, but of course she hoped so... And anyways, it looked like movie-verse Kiriyama had other priorities for the moment, at least. | |

Shit. Shit! Shinji's eyes widened as a row of bullet came straight at his legs. He dives to the right and manages to avoid most of the bullets, unfortunately one managed to embed itself in his leg. Shinji let out a groan from the intense pain gathering in his leg.
Shinji pulled a pistol that he had been hiding in his underwear out. He had brought it just in case something like this happened. Mitsuko and Kiryama weren't the safest people to dance around after-all. He fired several rounds off at the nearing Kazuo.
"Fucking bastard! You're not gonna take my life again!" Shinji yelled.

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] For most of the dance, Yutaka Seto had enjoyed it quietly with Yuka Nakagawa, and the two spent their time laughing at over couples who were getting far too close for comfort. That changed when movie-verse Kiriyama had suddenly entered the dance and starting firing his Uzi like the madman he was. Most of his classmates ran for cover, including Yutaka. Unfortunately, both bathrooms were occupied and there seemed to be nowhere to hide. He had to make-do with a large silver tray as a shield, and luckily Kiriyama hadn't noticed him. Yutaka felt relieved and even lucky when Kiriyama ran off after Shogo Kawada, and saw Shinji enter the dance moments later. That relief turned t fear when Kiriyama noticed Shinji, and went straight after him. "Hey! I dare you to point that gun at him! I double dare you!" Yutaka snarled, running out of the gym after Kiriyama. He was a little late and didn't realize Kiriyama was already past that stage, but Yutaka still felt the need to defend his best friend. [Only admins are allowed to see this image] Toshinori poked his head over the top of the table, feeling a little like a soldier. Kiriyama had found a new target, much to his relief. He slumped back down next to Chisato, and nodded at her to indicate everything seemed safe. Oda, you are such a hero, he thought, feeling proud of his bravery. | |

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] Kazuo did not slow in the least even as Mimura pulled a gun of his own and raised it to fire. He was struck once, then twice, in the chest, and flinched at the hit, stumbling back a little. But between his kevlar vest and the distance Mimura was shooting at, there was more of an impact than there was any actual pain, and Kazuo was quickly on the move again... only to pause a moment later when his Uzi ran short of ammo. He was still some distance from his target, and so didn't feel too threatened at being shot at while he paused to reload, grabbing another cartridge of ammunition from his pants pocket and discarding the emptied one. He was hit three more times while he reloaded, but all across the chest so that the vest took all the damage; though at the back of his mind, Kazuo absently acknowledged his chest was going to ache later at this rate. Whatever. As soon as his Uzi was loaded again, Kazuo began striding forward again and raised the submachine gun to continue firing for Mimura's legs. He had hit him once so far it looked like, but the boy was still standing, and that wouldn't do. Mimura was athletic. Kazuo wasn't going to give him any chance of racing off somewhere. He barely noticed Seto's shouting or approach until the boy had nearly reached him, at which point Kazuo shifted his aim for only a second to pump Seto's entire front full of bullets. Once it was clear Seto wasn't coming any closer, Kazuo promptly returned his aim for Mimura's legs. Yutaka Seto's courageous effort was only a minuscule side venture in Kazuo's lethal endeavors. [Only admins are allowed to see this image] Chisato didn't dare peek over the top of the table, and watched with a terrified expression as Oda did so for himself, as if fully anticipating his getting his head blown off. But he ducked back down without incident, offering a short nod. It was not a reassuring gesture in the least. Chisato could still hear clear, loud, and close typewriter-esque gunfire. Even if movie-verse Kiriyama was occupied for now, class 9-B was far from out of the woods yet. If Shinji was here, he would think of something... He would get us all out of this mess... Having not glanced over the table, Chisato remained oblivious her biggest crush had arrived, or that he was now the one being fired at. ... Though maybe it's a good thing he's not.... She thought, thankful Shinji would be safe and out of harm's way. | |

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] The gunfire continued outside. Toshinori wasn't sure if Shogo was still doomed, or if Kiriyama had found a new victim. He looked across at Chisato, who looked like she was going to faint with the worry. "Kiriyama's not going to get past this. Are you still scared?" Toshinori asked, patting the table with pride.

| "FUCK! YUTAKA!" Shinji screamed as he saw his friend get pumped full of bullets by the monster in front of him. Shinji couldn't see the result of the shots because soon his own legs were full of lead. Shinji fell to the ground and screamed in agony. He couldn't die like this. Shinji realized that he had a vest on due to his complete lack of injury from his Shinji's shots. Shinji futilely tried to fire more shots at him but soon decided to stop wasting his ammunition.
Shinji attempted to form a plan but was distracted by the incoming Kiryama. He tried to note his surroundings, looking for anything that could save him, but came up empty. Holy shit. I don't want to die again tonight. Not again.

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] Down. Kazuo immediately stopped firing once his target crumpled to the floor. Mimura shot once more, and this time the bullet skimmed the outside of his thigh. He stumbled once - more flinching than stumbling - and his brow furrowed as a troubled expression seeped into his face upon glancing down at the wound. It was very minor; little more than a cut. No big deal. That had made six shots. Depending on Mimura's handgun, he either had one shot left or none at all. Kazuo slowed significantly before quite reaching his target. If he moved much closer and Mimura had a shot left after all, accuracy would not be so difficult. Slowing to a stop, Kazuo paused to examine his target. Carefully, he began stepping to the side, until he was at such an angle that he could shoot hopefully without hitting anything important - with such a goal in mind, he took more care in aiming this time, and shot very briefly for Mimura's outstretched, gun-wielding arm and hand. He wasn't going to get any closer so long as Mimura was armed and may have had a shot left... So he hoped to disarm him first, or at least coax out his last shot, if there was one. [Only admins are allowed to see this image] Chisato arched a brow at Oda's words. That's what you said about your bulletproof vest, too, you doofus. But she wasn't going to say that aloud; it sounded mean. "... Y-Yes," she answered. The look on her face made it obvious she was not assured in the least by Oda's confidence in their table. Kiriyama could easily move around the table, if he couldn't just shoot through it. But she couldn't bear to dwell on the idea. | |

| Dammit! A shot from Kiryama's Uzi hit him in the hand. Severing his index and middle finger, and sending his gun a considerable distance away. "ARRGH!" He screamed in complete agony. His legs were in excruciating pain while his hand, hurt even more, but it was only in a small area. He knew that this was just the beginning of his suffering, due to the fact that Kiryama is a complete psycho. But he decided to use Kiryama's sadism to his advantage.
Shinji started to crawl towards the handgun, knowing that Kiryama wouldn't dare shoot him with his sadistic intentions. He was almost there he reached out to grip the gun.

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] For some reason Toshinori couldn't put his finger on, Chisato seemed a little annoyed in her tone of voice. He ignored it and pressed his back against the table. He felt the need to look again, but he was afraid of what the consequences would be. "Don't bother being afraid. He'll run out of bullets or get bored of trying to take down whoever it is he has a grudge against," he tried to reassure her once again, feeling like Chisato couldn't have gotten luckier to be around such a kind and compassionate person. | |

He put his arm around her waist to help pick her up, resisting the urges the ecstasy had been giving him all night. "Ready and stand." he hoisted her up on her feet and held her in place for a moment. They began to walk in the direction of Yukie's house.

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] Once the gun was shot free of its holder, Kazuo moved swiftly forward, reaching Mimura in seconds and kicking him hard in the side just before the boy could retrieve his pistol. He kicked him again square in the stomach, before stepping over to swipe up the gun. If Mimura was still going for it, it must have still had one shot left. Kazuo studied his new captive for a moment, contemplative. The fire of pursuit had left his eyes, and now his face and gaze was unnervingly calm. He then turned to lift his gaze and sweep it through the gym. He hated to waste a bullet... but he didn't have that great of aim, either, so anyone too far away he was very unlikely to hit. And, naturally, by now everyone was too far away. He looked down at Mimura again. The boy's legs were shot up already and his hand was bleeding now, too. Best not to shoot him any more just yet. Kazuo gave a soft sigh, nonchalantly casting the gun over his shoulder and shooting without even looking. If he shot someone, all the better - if he didn't, well, at least the extra gun was empty now. He tossed the pistol across the floor before crouching down beside Mimura, casually resting the end of his Uzi at the boy's gut just in case. He would've liked a fork or something. But Kazuo didn't mind doing the dirty work himself - might even be pretty interesting. His counterpart had taken someone's eyes out with his bare hands before, if he remembered correctly... Now movie-verse Kiriyama reached for Mimura's face as he had Kawada's minutes before. The night was going surprisingly smoothly. [Only admins are allowed to see this image] The beginnings of a sour look crept into Chisato's features, and she glanced at Oda not without some bitterness. Don't bother being afraid? Her friends and classmates were more or less trapped in a gymnasium with a bloodthirsty psycho and his submachine gun! How could she not bother to be afraid? Was Oda really so selfish he wasn't scared for his classmates, at least? "... A-Aren't you scared...?" She asked tentatively, brow furrowing as she wiped at the tears on her cheeks with her sleeve. | |

| That all happened so fast, it was like rewinding a movie. Shogo heard a girl calling his name, asking was he alright (did it look like he was alright? Damn it!), Kiriyama shooting someone who called for Shogo's name, Kiriyama perfectly ready to shoot him down for good... Then it happened. Someone or something else got his full interest, Shogo got whacked on the head by Kiriyama, making him, in already fragile state, fall down on the floor. Shogo let out a groan, leaning on his healthy arm. Then he saw the one who was shot by Kiriyama, the girl who called for Shogo's name, sacrificing her life to make sure Shogo was alright. Kanai Izumi — What he hell?He had never spoken to her before, so the fact she was lying on the floor, covered in her own blood made no damn sense to him. [Only admins are allowed to see this image] Sakura had no clue Izumi was going to run into the battlefield to help injured Kawada. It was crazy. Her hold on Izumi was not strong enough. ”I-Izumi!” The voice of gunfire covered Sakura's call for Izumi and trembling she got up and rocketed towards Izumi's body and Kawada. Sakura didn't even care if Kiriyama was still present. ”Izumi! Izumi!” She kneeled down next to Izumi and bursted into tears. ”Don't be dead! Please!” She gently grabbed Izumi's shoulders with shaking hands. ”Help... someone help!” | |

| Holy shit. He's going for my eyes! Is this some twisted form of revenge for blinding him? Shinji had to do something, he had to do it fast, or he was in for a world of extreme hurt. This bastard didn't deserve to live, he killed Yutaka, twice. He could hear some people screaming by Izumi, who he had blasted with his machine gun... again.
Shinji had an idea, a humiliating idea. His classmates would never let him live it down. But it was either this, or a loss of his eyes... and more torment. This was it, now or never. In the most literal sense of the word. It has to be done, no matter how terrible he found the idea, he had to do it.
Shinji sat up, avoiding the hand reaching for his eyes and pressed his lips upon Kiryama's, hoping that this would provide for a worthy distraction.

| Izumi couldn't make much sense out of what was going on. One second she was trying to help that Kawada, and the next she could feel her stomache being set on fire. With no power to stop it, she felt herself falling to the floor. She laid faced down, staring down onto the dark floor. Or was it just her head that had gone dark? She didn't hear a thing anymore, no gunshots, no screams, she barely even felt anything. What is this? She asked herself. There was no answer. This can't happen again, Izumi. Get up.
Slowly she felt her senses coming back to her. The pain hit her the first. It reminded her of a dull pain she had felt once previously. The time being her death. That thought scared her. Not again! But no matter how bad she told her body to move, it refused to listen to her. She heard the sound of more gunshots and screams, and large thump! against the floor. Did someone drop something? What was all this chaos after all? She didn't get any of it.
Suddenly she heard something else. A soft voice that somehow managed to shut out every other sound. ”Izumi! Izumi! Don't be dead! Please!” She recognized it as Sakura. I'm not dead, Sakura! I'm fine. It only hurts a little. But it will be fine, Izumi said. No, she realized, she hadn't said it after all. Not out loud. She couldn't. She heard Sakura calling desperatily for help and hoped more than anything she wouldn't worry too much about the mess Izumi had caused. Such a mess.

| [Only admins are allowed to see this image] He tensed reflexively as his captive abruptly sat up with more vigor than Kazuo would have taken him for having; it was an amazing feat in itself that his finger hadn't clenched on the trigger out of reflex, too. Despite his quick leaning back, he did not move back fast enough, and in a second he found Mimura's lips pressed insistently against his own. Tension bristled through Kazuo's slender frame in a great wave. His grip on his Uzi went lax only for a second, but when it returned full force, his finger clamped down on the trigger out of pure panic; typewriter gunfire erupted in a direct line through Mimura's gut where the submachine gun was aimed, though only for a second as Kazuo shoved the boy away from him and haphazardly stood, staggering away. He desperately wiped at his mouth with his sleeve, realizing his mouth was still covered in blood from his nosebleed - and yet Mimura had still kissed him. Kazuo's breathing rose into hyperventilating, each breath verging on a whimper. A helpless, troubled look consumed his features, but the fact his hand was still clinging tightly to his submachine gun showed he was still as deadly as ever - if not more than ever, judging by what appeared to be a sudden bout of mental instability. At least for just the moment, it seemed Kazuo was so stunned that his would-be victim had slipped his mind. | |
